AUTO ACCIDENT (MVA) INJURY
In most instances under Oregon law, drivers are covered for injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents and can see a chiropractor or acupuncturist of their choice without a referral. A referral may be required to see a physical therapist. Check with your claims representative for specifics. Treatment from all providers will require you to open a claim with your auto insurance, but we will provide the billing for you. With a referral from a chiropractor, naturopath, or other primary care physician you may also receive therapeutic massage for your injuries or counseling.
The Kenton Wellness Cooperative is unique in that we have a team of practitioners who specialize in the treatment of motor vehicle injuries. Our practitioners emphasize quality care and a patient-centered approach. Motor vehicle injuries can be complex and our providers work together to design treatment plans to manage your healing. For highly complex conditions, our providers recognize when referral to outside providers is appropriate or imaging recommended.
